Queen Street Studio is a member-based, non-profit management team who provide subsidised studios for hire, professional development programs and free residencies for Sydney’s Performing and Visual Arts communities.

Operating from two conveniently located inner-city venues, the organisation manages Heffron Hall in Darlinghurst and FraserStudios in Chippendale (an initiative of Frasers Property).

Heffron Hall is a community facility ideally suited as a rehearsal space for performing artists.

FraserStudios is a multi-disciplinary arts space that features 3 studios for hire:

		Studio 10 » Space for meetings/seminars/launches/arts-business

		Studio 12 » Non-commercial exhibition space for visual artists

		Studio 14 » Rehearsal studio for performing artists

All spaces are suitable for photo and/or film shoots too.

Our staff are all working arts practitioners managed by the founding directors, Samantha Chester (Director & Choreographer) and James Winter (Theatre Director). The organisation is governed by a Board of Management made up of industry peers.
