Samantha Chester: Co-founder/Programs Manager
Sam has been involved in the Australian arts industry for the past 15 years. Her formal training includes a BA in Dance from the University of Western Sydney, a post-graduate diploma in Arts Management from UTS and a post-graduate diploma in Movement Studies from (NIDA). In 2004 she received the Mike Walsh fellowship from NIDA and the Dame Joan Sutherland Award to travel to New York to study with American director Anne Bogart and The SITI co.
She has choreographed numerous works including Bound Sonata – AdelaideFringe (2000) Peepshow1: Are you going to love me (2001) The Men’s Room, NIDA (2005), Monster Forming (2008) Trace – NIDA (2009.) She has taught for NIDA, Ashfield Youth Theatre, Shopfront Theatre for Young People and NSW Department of Education.
Sam has worked for the Dance and Community Partnership boards at the Australia Council for the Arts and as the funding and research assistant for RANSW. She co-founded Queen Street Studio in 2005, which she co-manages at the FraserStudios site in Chippendale. Sam has been the arts representative on the Critical Path Board. She is currently Head of Movement at Actors Centre Australia.

James Winter: Co-founder/Venues & Booking Manager
A graduate of the Centre for the Performing Arts (Adelaide) in 1993, James has worked as a freelance theatre director and Community Cultural Development arts-worker throughout Australia and overseas. Founder of Brand X Theatre, James has worked with State Theatre of South Australia, State Opera of South Australia, Company B Education Program, Restless Dance Company, Big hART, Urban Myth Theatre of Youth, The Studio at the Sydney Opera House, Australian Theatre for Young People, Adelaide Institute of TAFE (Arts), Shopfront Theatre, South Sydney Youth Services, Powerhouse Youth Theatre and Carclew Youth Arts Centre. James is currently co-manager of Queen Street Studio and artistic director of Ashfield Youth Theatre.

Pete Volich: Visual arts coordinator
Pete Volich graduated with BA Honours in Visual Arts in 2000 from Australian National University and is currently undertaking a Masters in Visual Arts at University of Sydney. He continues to exhibit extensively both nationally and internationally across a broad range of media. In 2000 he was awarded the Queens Trust Award for emerging artists for Hotel California 2000 at Canberra Contemporary Art Space, since then he has been selected for numerous awards including Citibank Photographic Portraiture Prize at the Art Gallery New South Wales and short listed for the RIPE ANZ Art & Australia award. Are we there yet, was screened in the Australian Dance Awards at Sydney Opera House in 2006. In 2007 Pete was awarded a Skills and Arts Development grant to undertake a mentorship with internationally acclaimed film and video artist Isaac Julien in London. During 2009 Volich will be participating in Illume: Projections after Dark, a project involving several artists creating commissioned works for the exterior facade of the Campbelltown Arts Centre.
In 2008 he has exhibited in multiple group shows including Parade: Manufacturing Selves in Photography, as part of the Vivid Photography Festival, Looking Out, Macquarie University Gallery, Sydney, and Roving Eye, Rebecca Hossack Gallery, London UK. He has been prolific in his engagement with Australian Artist Run Initiatives, presenting work both as solo and group exhibitions in spaces such as Firstdraft Gallery, MOP, Loose project space, and Westspace, as well as inclusions in the publication Runway.
Pete has worked with various arts organisations such as Next Wave Festival, Performance Space, Australia Council for the Arts, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, and Royal College of the Arts, London. He is currently the Visual Arts Coordinator at Fraser Studio Projects, managed by Queen Street Studio.

Augusta Supple: Programs co-ordinator
Since graduating with honours in Performance Studies from the University of Sydney in 2001, Augusta has worked in theatre as a playwright, director, producer, carpenter, performer, dramaturg, stage manager, musician, reviewer and arts commentator in both Australia and North America.
Augusta has created programs, panels, residencies and festivals to nurture, develop, produce and promote new Australian performance writing. She is the Artistic Director of Brand Spanking New: a celebration of Australian Writing, a curated festival which she developed and currently heads for New Theatre.
Since early 2009 Augusta has run Off the Shelf for Queen Street Studio, a script development hothouse for writers and directors interested in new Australian work. She is also co-ordinating Blueprint, a site-specific devised residency program for Queen Street Studio.
Recently she was the creative producer and director of Stories From the 428 a multi-playwright project based at Sidetrack Theatre. In addition to her own practice, Augusta is a board member of Shopfront Contemporary Arts Centre, a curator for the new The Sydney Fringe Festival and regularly reviews and writes arts commentary for www.australianstage.com and her own site augustasupple.com
