
Matthew Martin is a cartoonist for The Times of London.
From 1990 until 2001 he lived in New York, where he freelanced as an
illustrator for magazines and newspapers, principally The New York
Times, Time magazine and The Village Voice.
Between 1987 and 2004 he
produced 150 T-shirt graphics for the surf wear company Mambo.
From
1981 till 1990 he was a cartoonist for The Sydney Morning Herald and
again in 2003. He has produced posters for theatre, music and film and
has illustrated nearly thirty books. His work has been exhibited in New
York, London, Paris, Prague and Tokyo, and most Australian capitals.
He never sells his cartoon originals and will do a drawing especially
for the spaceAID auction.
