Max Cullen began his career as an artist studying Sculpture at The National Art School in Sydney in the 60’s under Lyndon Dadswell and drawing at Julian Ashton’s Art School. At this time his work was exhibited in The Blake, Sulman, and The Young Contemporaries and in Solo Exhibitions at the renowned Central Street Gallery. In his late twenties he turned to acting and has established himself as a leader in that profession. However, since 2003 he has devoted himself fully to his earlier passion; painting and sculpture. Max is married to Margarita Georgiadis.
