Hilary Cinis is a Sydney-based contemporary and tribal fusion bellydancer. Primarily a soloist she also collaborates with other bellydancers from the Sydney area. She is also a fire artist and includes fire props in her shows (when appropriate).
Both tribal fusion and contemporary bellydance are uniquely flavoured dance styles that blend the exotic and earthy movements found in Middle Eastern, Central Asian and North African folk traditions, with modern interpretations and urban edges.
These movements, that showcase graceful body isolations, are then set to contemporary cross culture alternative sounds, traditional tribal rhythms or live musicians to deliver a powerfully elegant performance or entertainment experience.
Along with regular performances at nightclubs, functions and festivals she also teaches weekly classes at Queen Street Studio. More information can be found online at www.hilarycinis.com |
