Nalina is a performer, choreographer, dance-film maker, teacher and improviser with a degree in Dance (WAAPA).  She has performed in Australia and Internationally with Rosalind Crisp, Nikki Haywood, Danceworks, Sue Healey, Devastation Menu, Hans Van Den Broeck, in her own work and in many improvisational settings.

Her work includes solo kyu (2002) and solo dancefilm Sole (supported by the Australia Council through the Young and Emerging Choreographers Initiative in 2003). After the birth of her daughter Leila in 2005, she began creating medium-length work Dual, currently in development in collaboration with Jane McKernan and Gail Priest, due to be presented in 2008 at Performance Space. 

Through Critical Path Nalina has been mentored by Rosalind Crisp (Choreolab ’04), Jonathan Burrows, Hans Van Den Broeck, Wayne McGregor, Wim Vandekeybus, Thierry De May, Helen Hurbertson and Ben Cobham.
